This past weekend, my good friend Danna from Danna Livingston Art and I attended a holiday market benefitting a cure for Parkinson's. It was a very nice small event where we displayed our wares to benefit a very worthy cause. Here are some photos from the event. Plush Patchwork Quilts - More Minky Loveliness

With the holidays right around the corner, I decided to go ahead and make a patchwork quilt with minky backing in each of my fabric collections. These lovely plush traditional patchwork crib quilts are sure to bring comfort and warmth and oh do they look oh so pretty! You can find them in my shop here, and they are Ready to Ship! I can also make accenting nursery separates such as as sheets, skirts and changing pad covers! Just Ask!!

This is Dena Design's Taza in Pink. Such a pretty and cheery collection. I have a picnic size ready to ship in my shop here, but you can custom order this collection in any size you wish! Crib, toddler, twin, full, queen and king sizes! I just love how the yellow pops with the pinks!

Remembering my first international sale. Picnic Rag Quilt, Moda, Oh Deer, Colorful, Handmade, Patchwork Quilt

I will never forget my very first international sale. A woman from Adelaide, South Australia commissioned a picnic sized quilt for her little daughter Alba. She ordered Moda's Oh Deer collection, one of my absolute favorite fabric lines, in fact it was the very first fabric collection I purchased for my shop because I just loved all of the fun and cheery patterns.I was thrilled to make a quilt for someone on the other side of the globe! Since that sale, I have sold several quilts to Canada, and most recently to Bermuda!

Baby Crib Quilt Custom Handcrafted Patchwork - Joel Dewberry, Heirloom in Citrine

Now that the cooler weather has arrived and the holidays are right around the corner, I decided to change up the crib rag quilt with a traditional patchwork quilt, but instead of using cotton muslin for the back, I used this really nice, thick and oh so soft minky dot fabric in cream. The quilt is so soft, plush and cuddly, I can't stand it!
I just love the traditional patchwork look too but with these bright and modern patterns. This quilt is ready to ship and you can find it here. I can also make this style with any of my other collections. This is a really nice winter quilt whereas the rag quilt style is much lighter and good for the rest of the year. I can't wait to make one of these in each of my collections.

Rag Quilt, King Sized, Hawaiian Style

This quilt was quite the labor of love, my largest undertaking to date, a King sized Hawaiian styled rag quilt with matching shams for my wonderful sister in law as a thank you for gifting me her old DSLR camera! Thank you Alissa!

I conquered it and I am not afraid of a 96" x 105" quilt and I am ready for my next request!
