New Quilt Added - Joel Dewberry Botanique in Golden Hour

I have added a new quilt to my shop. I just love the apricot, yellows and aqua in this collection. I was hoping to find a sunny palette to replace the heirloom in citrine that is being retired..does this fit the bill? Goodbye Heirloom in Citine.. I will miss you

It is bitter sweet every time I sell one of these quilts, because I know it just brings me closer to the ends of the bolt on this collection and once the fabric is gone, it is gone forever...boo.

Joel Dewberry's Heirloom in Citrine collection was a very popular seller in my shop and it is no wonder,,,, the lemony yellow and orange and aqua patterns are just gorgeous!
 
But I guess some things must come to an end.  

This is the first time since I have opened my shop that I have actually used the fabric to the end of the bolt, in a way it is a good thing because it creates room for more beautiful fabric, but this collection sure will be missed. 

I of course made sure to set some of it aside for myself.

Queen Size Rag Quilt in Calming Blue and Aqua

Dena Design's Taza Collection in Blue is such a beautiful palette of soothing and cool blues, green, lavender and aquas. I just love how my most recent commission turned out. There are normally 7 different patterns that I use with this collectiobn, but one of my customers placed a custom order to use just 5 of the 7 fabrics and I think it created a perfect bedroom quilt! Go Irish! Notre Dame Patchwork Rag Quilt

My husband is a HUGE Notre Dame fan, and by proxy I am too ;-). I surprised him for Christmas this year with my newest creation, a Notre Dame themed throw quilt. Perfect for the couch or even to take to a game or picnic. I scoured the internet trying to find Notre Dame fabric to no avail. Finally I decided to make my own Notre Dame fabric and mix the patterns with my designer fabrics I had on hand to create this bright and fun collection. The end product turned out so well that I decided to add it to my shop.

Turn around time for these quilts is 4 weeks because I have to have the fabric made, it is also a bit pricier to make this fabric which is why this quilt is a little bit more than my other quilts of the same size. But well worth it right? You are purchasing a one of a kind creation, never seen before and not to be made by anyone else!
